The Office Hour Workshop & Tasting Service Agreement

Please complete this form to proceed with booking your event. This SERVICE CONTRACT is entered into by and between The Office Hour (“Service Provider”) and ______ (“Client”) as of __ / __ / ____ for Client’s event. By executing this contract, Client acknowledges and accepts all terms and conditions contained herein.

1. Services

The Office Hour agrees to provide professional mixology and tasting workshop services for the Client’s event. Services may include planning and facilitation of cocktail, mocktail, or tequila tasting workshops; setup and breakdown of the designated area; guided instruction and education on spirits, ingredients, and mixology techniques; coordination and distribution of any shipped or on-site materials and ingredients; and creating an inclusive and engaging environment for all participants.

For cocktail or mocktail workshops, The Office Hour provides guided instruction on preparing cocktails and non-alcoholic beverages, including demonstrations, ingredient handling, and presentation techniques.

For tequila tasting experiences, The Office Hour provides guided tasting and educational content covering tequila production, tasting techniques, and spirit pairings.

The Office Hour does not sell or charge for alcohol in any form. All alcoholic beverages used in workshops or tastings must be supplied by the Client or the event venue. The Office Hour’s role is limited to providing education, guided tasting, and mixology instruction using the alcohol the Client provides. Additional services such as branded materials, custom cocktail creations, or printed tasting guides may be arranged for an additional fee.

2. Fee and Payment Terms

A non-refundable deposit of 25% is required to secure the event date. The remaining balance is due no later than 7 days prior to the event. Payments not received by the due date are subject to a $100 per week late fee. Payment may be made via ACH, credit card, or other approved electronic methods.

3. Add-Ons and Materials

Optional add-ons include custom company-inspired cocktails, ingredient or bar kit shipping, branded materials, or additional instructors. All add-ons must be pre-approved and reflected in the final invoice. Shipping costs are billed separately.

4. Guest Count and Adjustments

Client must confirm the final guest count no later than 10 days before the event. If the actual number of participants exceeds the confirmed count, additional fees may apply. If fewer guests attend than confirmed, the quoted total remains unchanged.

5. Client Responsibilities

The Client agrees to provide accurate event details, ensure adequate setup space, confirm alcohol restrictions, and distribute workshop kits prior to the event unless The Office Hour has been contracted to handle kit distribution by mail. If The Office Hour is responsible for mailing the kits, the Client agrees to cover all shipping and handling fees and confirm arrangements in advance to allow adequate time for assembly and delivery.

The Client is solely responsible for purchasing, providing, and supplying all alcohol, including tequila, spirits, wine, or beer used in any workshop or tasting experience. The Office Hour will not sell, distribute, or charge for alcohol under any circumstance. The Client must also obtain any required venue permissions or permits and ensure all guests consuming alcohol are of legal drinking age.

6. Responsibilities of The Office Hour

The Office Hour agrees to arrive or log in on time, provide an experienced mixologist or tasting facilitator, bring or ship necessary materials, maintain a clean environment, and offer inclusive cocktail and mocktail options. The Office Hour is not responsible for delays caused by venue restrictions, third-party shipping delays, or inaccurate client information.

7. Cancellation Policy

The 25% deposit is non-refundable. Cancellations after final payment are eligible for an 80% refund minus incurred material or shipping expenses. The Office Hour will make every effort to reschedule if unforeseen circumstances arise. Refunds for dissatisfaction are reviewed case by case.

8. Liability

The Office Hour will take all reasonable precautions to ensure safety and compliance during workshops and tastings. However, The Office Hour, its owners, employees, and contractors shall not be held liable for any accidents, injuries, or damages resulting from participant behavior, negligence, or misuse of provided materials, tools, or alcohol. The Office Hour is not responsible for overconsumption, intoxication, allergic reactions, illness, or any incidents occurring before, during, or after the event.

The Office Hour assumes no responsibility for loss, theft, or damage to personal or company property, shipping delays, or issues arising from incorrect delivery details. The Office Hour shall not be held liable for venue-related hazards, noncompliance with laws, or the actions of guests or vendors not employed by The Office Hour.

The Client acknowledges that The Office Hour does not hold a liquor license and does not sell or distribute alcohol. The Client assumes full responsibility for ensuring that all alcohol served or consumed during the event is procured and provided in compliance with local and state laws. The Client agrees to indemnify and hold harmless The Office Hour, its owners, employees, and contractors against any claims, damages, or expenses arising from the Client’s or participants’ actions or failure to comply with this Agreement.

9. Governing Law

This contract shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of California.

10. Entire Agreement

This Agreement represents the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior discussions. Amendments must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
